Royal Mail

An employee engagement campaign to promote the positives in a rapidly expanding area of business.
My role
Concept developer and graphic designer.
Tools
Illustrator, Indesign, photoshop.
The problem
Employees were starting to get disgruntled with the back and forth of customer returns, feeling as if it was a less rewarding and purposeful task, but in fact, it was an important developing part of the business, with the positives of this needing to be highlighted to staff members.
The Solution
The solution comes from analysing the employee's pain points when working with return packages. Developing a campaign to try and inform and change negative views into positives. Having done this by giving information in an attention-grabbing campaign that could work across multiple channels. This developed into the many happy returns' campaign, which included multiple interlocking messages (posters or animations) displaying the key messaging that return packages are good for all parties involved in the chain (happy retailer + happy customer = Happy Royal Mail), as they all benefit from it and it is good for business.
